Question: Are we spending too much time with our technology?
The video here deals with the idea of "screen time" and whether teens are becoming overly dependent and focused on technology. The real issue isn't just teens though...it's all of us. As I mentioned in class, I have seen adults sit in restaurants together and spend a meal texting instead of having a conversation. In other examples, the QEII hospital in Grande Prairie had to block access to facebook a few years ago to prevent staff from spending working hours on social media, and I have seen many adults talking on the phone or even texting while driving. In other words, there are many of us who need to consider how we are using technology...
